Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth — how do you score big in Crazy Delivery?

Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Crazy Delivery guide

Crazy Delivery opens when the main story asks Ichiban to earn $30. Clearing Easy is enough for the story, but the later difficulties demand that you deliver while holding a stunt chain. Collect food, use the correct delivery spots, visit both Super Crazy Jump ramps, and treat cars as jump targets rather than walls.

Where Crazy Delivery starts

Crazy Delivery starting point across from the Aloha Street taxi stop

Go to the palm tree across from the Aloha Street taxi stop when the story reaches the part where Ichiban needs money. Tomizawa dismisses the idea of a taxi driver doing bicycle deliveries and leaves. A rider in a green uniform arrives with a jump and mistakes Ichiban for the applicant.

The rider is Charlie, head of Crazy Eats. His service promises fast food delivery with flashy bicycle stunts. The conversation is mainly a setup for the minigame tutorial.

Difficulties and target scores

Crazy Delivery four difficulties and target scores
  • Easy: 4,000
  • Normal: 7,500
  • Hard: 25,000
  • Professional: 30,000

Easy completes the substory, and Normal is forgiving. Hard is where the required score jumps enough that the rules start to matter. This is not the best way to make money; Dondoko Island and gambling are available. Completing every difficulty does, however, count toward a Steam achievement in the recorded PC version.

Collect, chain a stunt, then deliver

Ichiban collects burgers pizza and sushi before delivery

Pick up burgers, pizza and sushi like coins, then use the on-screen delivery control at the matching spots. The original notes avoid naming the button because PlayStation and Steam layouts differ. Sushi pays more than pizza, and pizza more than burgers; higher-value delivery spots are also less common.

Speed alone is not enough. Perform jumps on the way and deliver while the Crazy state is active for a larger score. The chain has three levels and appears to expire after roughly two or three seconds without another action. That timing was the player’s observation, not a measured game specification.

Super Crazy Jump ramp used for a high scoring stunt

There are two Super Crazy Jump ramps on the route. Use both. Vertical jumps are most useful when lining up a food pickup without full acceleration. Side jumps turn the bicycle sharply, so plan a curve instead of trying to charge all three levels on a perfectly straight line.

Cars can extend the chain

Most obstacles should be avoided because a collision drops some collected meals. Cars are different: land on one as if it were an enemy in a platform game, and it disappears while adding to the Crazy stack. Pressing jump just before impact also counted in the recorded run, probably because contact occurred during the jump state.

Points, rewards and the $30 story payment

Crazy Delivery point exchange items

After a run, exchange points for dollars or items. Beyond level-up and stat items, the remaining prizes are the items shown below Captain Disco Night in the screenshot. One entry is Project Sekai, identified by its tooltip as Hatsune Miku.

Charlie rewards Ichiban after clearing Crazy Delivery Easy

Clear Easy and Charlie praises Ichiban’s balance of spectacle, speed and care. He gives him $30, which is the amount needed to continue the main story at Jeff’s taco truck. Charlie also becomes a paid Poundmates summon; for three turns, his deliveries restore the party’s health.
